Protal is Denso’s line of protective pipeline coatings that can be applied by hand
or spray method. We offer a full range of fast cure, high build epoxies for
a variety of above and below ground corrosion protection. Our Protal Liquid
coatings can easily be applied in high and low temperature environments. Our
anti corrosion coatings are also great for protecting girth welds, tie-ins, cadwells,
fittings, fabrications, repairs to FBE and rehabilitation to existing pipelines.
Our pipeline coatings are high build, up to 50 mils in one coat.

Protal
7200 - High build, fast cure pipeline coating
A fast cure, one coat epoxy coating that can be hand or spray applied to girth welds,
tie-ins, fittings and rehabilitation of existing pipelines. Exhibits excellent
cathodic disbondment properties at 175°F (80°C) with 7 mm disbondment.
Protal 7200 Repair Cartridge - Fast Cure Epoxy Repair Coating
Repair coating for damaged FBE and other liquid coated pipelines. Also used
as coating of cadweld areas.

7250 - High build, fast cure pipeline coating
A fast cure, one coat epoxy coating that can be spray applied to girth welds, tie-ins,
fittings and rehabilitation of existing pipelines. Exhibits excellent cathodic
disbondment properties at 175°F (80°C) with 7 mm disbondment. Protal 7250
is used in Canada only and is the spray grade version of Protal 7200.

7000 - High build pipeline coating - brush grade
A fast cure, one coat epoxy coating that can be hand applied to girth welds, tie-ins,
fittings and rehabilitation of existing pipelines.
Protal 7000 Airless Spray - High Performance Epoxy Coating
Solvent free two-pack high build high performance epoxy coating which is applied
with conventional airless spray equipment.

7125 - Fast cure, low temperature pipeline coating - winter grade
A low temperature coating that can cure at -4°F (-20°C). The coating can be
backfilled in 30 minutes at 50°F (10°C). Used for girth welds, tie-ins, rehabilitation,
repairs to FBE and sacrificial coating to FBE.
Protal 7125 Repair Cartridge - Fast cure high build pipeline repair coating
A fast cure pipeline coating that is packaged in cartridge tubes and applied with
a dispensing gun. The coating can be backfilled in 30 minutes at 50°F (10°C).
Used for girth welds, tie-ins, repairs to FBE, rehabilitation, sacrificial
coating to FBE and caldwelds.

7900HT - High temperature pipeline coating
A high build epoxy coating that can be hand applied to girth welds, tie-ins, fittings
and rehabilitation of existing pipelines. Maximum operating temperature up
to 302°F (150°C).

A high build epoxy coating that can be hand applied to girth welds, tie-ins, fittings
and rehabilitation of existing pipelines. Maximum operating temperature up
to 250°F (121°C).

7300 - Moisture Tolerant Pipeline Liquid Coating
Protal 7300 is a VOC free, 100% solids epoxy coating specially formulated to coat
dry, damp or wet surfaces. It is a high build liquid coating that is Denso
Protal Applicator Pad, Denso Protal 9" Roller, or brush applied in one coat in the
field or shop.
Protal ARO
- Abrasion Resistant Pipeline Coating
Protal ARO is a VOC free, 100% solids liquid epoxy coating formulated to be applied
over FBE as an ARO coating (abrasion resistant overlay). It is a 3:1 ratio
compatible for most plural component spray units coating that can be spray or hand
applied in the field or shop.
Protal ST Epoxy Mastic - Surface tolerant liquid epoxy
A fast drying surface tolerant epoxy coating that can be hand or spray applied to
wire brushed rusty steel surfaces. Used for above and below ground pipelines,
structural steel, bridges, tanks, and other steel surfaces.

Bitumen Mastic - Single component bitumen mastic coating
A high build single component cold applied liquid bituminous coating. Used
for corrosion protection of buried pipe, flanges, valves and fittings.

Weathershield 55 - High Build Flexible Acrylic Topcoat
Used as a topcoat over Protal Liquid Coatings to provide color coding and UV stability.
Used in conjunction with the Denso Tank Base Protection System as a topcoat for
Denso FB 30 Tape. Will cure at temperatures as low as 40°F (4°C).

Weathershield 60 - High Gloss Aliphatic Polyurethane Topcoat
Used as a topcoat over Protal Liquid Coatings to provide color coding, abrasion
resistance, chemical resistance and UV stability. Will cure at temperatures
as low as 40°F (4°C).
Denso OuterArmour
- Liquid Epoxy Topcoat for Denso Petrolatum Tapes
Denso OuterArmour is a two-component 100% solids liquid epoxy coating. It
is a tough/durable topcoat that provides excellent abrasion resistance for Denso
Petrolatum Tapes.
Denso Protal Air Cartridge Gun - For Spraying Cartridges of Protal Liquid Coatings
Can be used in a wide variety of spray applications using Protal Liquid Coatings.
It is designed for use where fast and easy setup, no clean up, minimal material
waste and minimal equipment maintenance is needed.

Pipeline Coating
Protal 7200 Cartridge (1000 ml) is a VOC free, 100% solids, 2 part epoxy coating
specially formulated to compliment FBE coated pipe.
Archco 403D - Vinyl Ester Glass Flake Coating
Corrosion protection for oil storage tank linings, filtration vessels, ion exchange
vessels, effluent streams and water treatment facilities. Also, used for the
protection of process vessels, stacks, ducts, fume scrubbers, fan cases and many
other corrosive environments.
